Dr. Diana Chang

Dr. Diana Chang joined South Wilton Veterinary Group in 2007. She was born in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to the U.S. at age 8. She spent most of her childhood in northeast Pennsylvania and eastern North Carolina. Dr. Chang attended New York University for two years and completed her Bachelor's Degree in Biology at the University of Virginia. She then attended the University Of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2005.
Part of her education included working with birds of prey and indigenous wildlife at the Wildlife Center of Virginia. She also worked for the U.S. Geological Survey for a summer investigating the American alligator and their diminishing habitat due to farming in Florida. Before joining SWVG, Dr. Chang practiced in Andover, Mass. at a small animal practice with a concentrated interest in avian, exotics, and alternative medicine. She also spent a year as an associate veterinarian at Norwalk Vet Hospital in Norwalk, Conn. In her spare time, Dr. Chang's interests include hiking, biking, reading, volunteering, Latin and ballroom dancing, and spending time with friends and family. She has two wonderful bunnies, Allie and Samantha.
